4 out of 5 children survive cancer. But 1 out of 5 still does not. 4 out of 5 is a beautiful number, but 1 out of 5 is still one child too many.

Luxembourg may be a small country, but cancer doesn't care about borders. Every year, children in our community are diagnosed with cancer. Behind every diagnosis is a child, a family, and a future worth fighting for.

Every child deserves the chance to grow up healthy, dream big, and simply be a child.

Our two year old daughter may be too young to understand cancer, but she already knows how to run, smile, and spread joy. By taking part in LËTZ GO GOLD charity run, she's reminding us that every child deserves the chance to grow up healthy and carefree.

Through this fundraiser, we hope to support children with cancer and the research that brings better treatments, fewer side effects, and, one day, a cure for every child.

"A child should worry about monsters under the bed, not about cancer cells inside their body. A child's brothers and sisters should be laughing, teasing each other, and playing together on the couch, not sitting beside a hospital bed. A child's parents should be kissing scraped knees and wiping away tears, not helping them through the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation."
